‘Iron 18’ was apart of a secret pop art show that we step up with the use of twitter. Entitled the ‘Reverse Art Secret Show’, it consisted of a set of clues, that were tweeted out, which if followed correctly would lead to the location of the secret art show. The first person to find the art show won a free t-shirt.
The artwork itself consisted of two prints and two poems which addressed the issue of dirty needles in the city of Vancouver.
Iron 18 is a play on words and someone with an understanding of the scientific periodic table, should be able to figure out it’s second meaning.
